ABOUT ME

THE DESIGN DUCK is officially open for business! Thanks for visiting our online home!

THE DESIGN DUCK is an alias for me, Jennifer Tooman (formerly Jennifer Mladucky). My maiden name (Mladucky) resulted in a lifelong collection of ‘duck’ nicknames. Hence the name, THE DESIGN DUCK.

After graduating from Ferris State University and Kendall College of Art & Design (2003) with a bachelors degree in Visual Communications, I returned home to take on Mason County’s creative projects.

THE DESIGN DUCK is experienced in print and digital media. Specialties include logo design, wedding stationery and web design.

If you are looking for a custom website that you can update quickly and easily by yourself without learning HTML or any other web editing code, THE DESIGN DUCK has you covered. Add photos, news, events, blogs and more! Do you need an eCommerce solution? I can build you an online store!

THE DESIGN Duck charges a lot less for web development than other web designers. How? We use Joomla! or WordPress. That means we only charge you for the time it takes to set up one of these CMS (content management system) solutions, to set up each component you request and to build you a custom site design. This adds up to a lot less than if you were to pay someone to custom code your site. But the end result is the same! You get a website designed just for you and you have full control over the content. If you prefer to not use a content management system, I have a group of contract programmers who can build you a custom site from the ground up.

Let THE DESIGN DUCK hand-make your invitations, RSVP postcards, programs, thank you’s and more for any event. From corporate parties and events to weddings and family reunions and everything in between!

Ducks may have large bills… but this ducks’ customers will never have one! THE DESIGN  DUCK is professional, creative and best of all affordable!

I am looking forward to helping you with your next design task!
