On January 5th I travels to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the CES show with one of my clients, John Burton.
We were there to showcase ACOUSTIBUDS, his latest invention which was honored with the CES Best Of Innovations Honoree Award. ACOUSTIBUDS are soft, silicone adapters that fit over your existing Apple earbuds (or any other earbud that is similarly shaped).
We have found these common problems people have voiced with their earbuds: #1 They don't stay in your ears #2 They aren't comfortable #3 They don't sound very good
ACOUSTIBUDS solves ALL THREE of these problems. #1 Their soft fins grips your ear canal, keeping the earbud from falling out. #2 The soft, silicone rubber cushions the ear, making the earbuds more comfortable to wear. #3 The fins block outside noise, creating a "room" inside your ear. This keeps the lower frequencies (especially bass) from escaping through gaps between the hard plastic earbuds and your ear canal. They are also acoustically engineered on the inside based on the horn. The twin-cone core gradually changes the sound waves as they travel from the speaker to your ear, which retains the quality of the sound that comes out of the speaker.
They've won awards, they're in Popular Science magazine this month, they've been showcased on ComputerWorld.com's 2008 Holiday Gift Guide and they got outstanding reviews at CES.
Check them out! They're only $13 on Amazon.com!
